McLaughlin & Harvey

The 2022 Commonwealth Games catalysed Birmingham’s regeneration, providing a social, economic, cultural and sporting legacy for the city and region. As the main contractor for the redevelopment of the stadium that delivered the athletics programme and opening and closing ceremonies, McLaughlin & Harvey also left a legacy of lasting positive impact for the local community in the Perry Barr and wider Birmingham area, with £21.5million of local economic value generated and 91 community and education groups supported with 1066 hours of community and education volunteering and £80,000 of financial investment.
